Biggest disappointment imo is that they were not willing to come to terms with McElwain on the buyout. Memphis yet again being too cheap to commit to the football program getting better.

This hiring was a surprise. Not sure what all went wrong with McElwain. All I heard was how it was as good as done for a deal, just had to iron out some little things, guess that's where communication broke. My main question is, what happened with Fichtner? He was guy #2 and seems like Fuente came out of nowhere.

Was said on local raido today that Fichtner was never even contacted even though he openly expressed he wanted the job.:crazy:
