How about since he's 6'6", 250...we muscle him up and put him on the offensive line for the football team

Harris wanted it to happen so maybe he can knock some sense into the Maymons.

A hater on here said he sucks.

I think you are not player of the year as a junior and senior and starting as a true freshman on a big east team if you suck.

We will see who is right...

Well - I didn't want him until I saw that Steven Pearl had to play 10 minutes against the #1 team in the nation at the 4. Now - I will gladly take him.

Just hope we keep the chemistry we have now- aint seen them play like a team since Lofton and J. Smith left.

I don't think even Rick Stansbury takes this many transfers. What kind of halfway house is Bruce running?

Maymon is a talented player. He had not yet cracked the starting line up at Marquette, but he was behind a senior, Lazar Hayward, who was good enough to be playing with USA basketball last summer in the World University Games.

Jeronne Maymon was the AP player of the in Wisconsin twice, and Mr. Basketball the second year.

He is a talented player that was progressing nicely at Marquette. He did well in school in his first semester and is a really good kid.

Originally picked Marquette over schools like USC, UCLA, Tennessee and a host of others. Was told yesterday it was down to K-State & NC State as Tennessee did not have a spot open, but now sounds as if he will walk on for a semester.

I spoke with his dad during his recruitment in high school, and he dad always spoke very highly of Bruce Pearl.

Good luck to Jeronne at Tennessee!

family is upset,, to be expected as the decision to go there did not work out,,, He is paying his way this Spring
and looks to be a good athlete,,, I don't look for him to be
a huge points impact player,,, may be a great rebounder with his size?

Yes I would say anything would be better than having steven pearl out there. Did you see his free throws? I would say maymon is a vast improvement over pearl.

It was good to see him on the bench last Saturday and getting along well with the team.
