her staying the face of the Dems is perfect. She hurt them this election and will do the same next time. It's the Dems in Congress that will pay the price and should be picking someone different

It is good for the cause. I'm thinking that the dems really don't think that ramming useless legislation through during an economic crisis cost them the election. That is going to cost them another one without a doubt.

they think it's fine. i had read where the big soros backed groups are fine with the 'blue dog dems' being kicked out. they want the dems purged of any type of moderate dem.

your liberal areas will always vote for libs. northeast, west coast. so it will not matter if a few more mod dems are voted out.

not sure you quite have this fascist party thing down.

Doesn't matter to him I think. It suits his purpose. In another post I'm sure he'll refer to Dems as communists; he doesn't care that Fascism is an extreme right leaning political philosophy and communism is an extreme left leaning political philosophy. Joe will use whichever term he thinks will be the most derogatory remark at the time. He doesn't care about the actual meanings of the terms as long as they sound really bad.

Pelosi is probably the least popular politician in America. Of course the Democrats still let her keep her job...

Favorable and unfavorable ratings for many politicians are given in the blog post linked below.

Is Pelosi America's Least Popular Politician? - NYTimes.com

Also, this blog is good at digging into polling numbers and provides some neat analysis. For example, another post from today looked at which controversial votes (TARP, stimulus, health care, cap and trade) really hurt the dems in the last election cycle, and which ones didn't really matter. If that sounds interesting to you, then you should check out the blog.

I know lots of you probably don't like the NYT, but even though it's hosted there the blog's author is an independent.

More so than conservative, sure. I probably shouldn't have mentioned it at all.

For what he does, it shouldn't really matter, right? I mean all of the methodology is disclosed, so it would be easy to point out partisan flaws in the analysis. It's basically just stats and numbers, though.

No they are not the same. Take a history or government class. I never said I was pro-Dem or pro-Repub. It's people like you that are ripping the country apart. If they don't believe they same as you, they are a sheep. That attitude is close to fascism. As to the douchebag comment, i'm glad you recognized it. I wanted to throw some of your own medicine at you. I have conversed with may people on here with different views than me, and they are more often than not pretty civil. You on the other hand, are the most narrow minded angry person I have seen here. I flat out don't like you or your attitude/belittling of people that disagree with you. You are nothing more than a schoolyard bully. I hope this
comes across as douchebaggy as I am intending it to. You have truly earned this
type of treatment.

Wish the Dems would have gone centrist with the Minority leader role....

Oh, well....

One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. I think that explanation applies here.

why? There will be a different result. At least there is a road block to Pelosi's silliness now. The prevailing sentiment, populace wise, against her and her ilk and a opposing majority means she'll be getting nothing more done if she continues the radical approach.

We may have a misunderstanding. I was making fun of the Dems for choosing the same leader who presided over one of the worst election defeats in history. You know, like they will all of a sudden gain popularity by having the same leadership.

I hate politics. I hate democrats. I hate republicans.

With that said, that Pelosi broad is demonized big time! You can see beelzebub looking out of her eyes.
