Looks like the Trumpster's gonna endorse Romney

Interesting... the rumor this morning was that he was going to endorse Newt.

The ONLY thing Trump ever had to use with the base or the TP was the whole birther thing. After that, Trump had nothing new to say about anything, and he knows it.

He is endorsing the guy that is going to win ... but only after it has become fairly certain that it will be Romney who wins.

Calling Trump a carnival barker is an insult to carnival barkers.

The Atlanta Journal-Constipation is reporting Donald Duckster will endorse Newt today in Vegas.

Trump appeared on face the nation last weekend and had nothing but good things to say about Gingrich.

I have to agree with toe mashie on this one, who cares, one way or the other?

I found it totally amazing that people would call in to talk radio stations in support of the Trump presidential candidacy.

Interesting:

During an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" in April, Trump criticized Romney for eliminating jobs while in the private sector. "He'd buy companies. He'd close companies. He'd get rid of jobs," Trump told CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley. "I've built a great company. My net worth is many many times Mitt Romney."

Apparently Trump has wanted to endorse him for some time. But he was concerned over Mitt's citizenship status noting the history of his father and grandfather in Mexico. Once he saw the birth certificate he was fine.

Of all people, Rush Limbaugh perfectly summed up where I am with Mitt Romney. I want to believe that he's conservative enough, but he's just not showing that he has the reflexes for it.

It will be interesting to see how far Rush goes this cycle after reluctantly going with McCain last time. A lot of the people who held their nose for McCain and refused to ever do this again are being put into some uncomfortable positions right now. A lot of insiders are hedging bets and putting efforts into the Senate races and firewalling the House. It's why you'll see all sorts of talk on who will run in 2016 in the news.

I don't think it was smart for Romney to appear with Trump and accept his endorsement. Maybe Mitt thinks Trump will write him some big checks.

Yeah I don't think it would be a smart move myself. Mitt doesn't need Trump's money, Goldman Sachs has his back plus many others. That's one other thing I will say for Mitt he will have the best chance as far as $$$ to take on Obama.

Is that an indictment on Trump or an indictment on the GOP electorate?

Obi-Wan Kenobi said who is the bigger fool, the fool or the one that follows him?

I would say only a segment of the GOP electorate.

The Trump endorsement means nothing, Ron Paul was the recipient of the coveted 'Bunny Ranch' endorsement, wouldn't Obi-wan say; "Trumped has been Trump?"

BTW, what do you think of the fact that both parents of the DNC chairperson have been sentenced to prison?

Now who is tht bigger fool, the republican or the democrat electorate?

That is if you believe in the rule of law, which evidently the democrats have wholly abandoned.
