It was time for a new Dodgers thread for this 2011 season. I'm not expecting much this year but then again, I didn't expect the Giants to win the World Series or the Padres to play well for most of last season either. I guess anything is possible and I like having Don Mattingly take over for Torre instead of someone else.

Thanks for posting that. It is true, Frank McCourt should have never been approved to buy the team. Hopefully he will be forced to sell them to someone who can run a large market team.

Baseball could greatly benefit from the Dodgers getting back to the top of the NL. I've never particularly cared for them, but their history is enough to respect.

I don't care who buys them as long as they have the money it takes to operate the team and make winning a top priority. I see the Pirates and they're more interested in turning a profit but they also don't need to spend like the Sox or Yankees to be successful either.

if Frank McCourt gets his way. If he is allowed to get a 385 million dollar advance on the TV deal with Fox to make payroll. I've been a Dodger fan since 1991 and this moron is destroying the team.

It just pisses me off even more to think owners won't approve a Mark Cuban but will allow a guy like McCourt to own a team.

If this gets worse, who the hell should I pull for??
