Was there anyone today that we thought we had a chance at the commited elsewhere...

I didn't get to watch the Army game and I can't find the list of kids who made their choices today..

No, but there was some guys either committed to us or giving us a look. We weren't in it with anyone announcing.

Probably pretty concerned. Taking visits to Michigan, Illinois and maybe UF. Really wants to go somewhere his bro can play QB. Which is not UT.

I wouldn't be concerned with performance in a meaningless game. Boyd basically had to put on a show. And I also wouldn't be concerned about the comments of a self-important high school coach who sounds pissed that we didn't take his guy. I think Kiffin has a pretty good eye for quarterbacks...

Most of Boyd's yards came on two passes to Bryce Brown, #1 rated RB who was matched against a LB downfield. Boyd has a strong arm and looked better than the other qb's there. No one declared that we has a legitimate shot at.

Yes Boyds stats got padded because of brown, but you have to admit Boyd did look good.

Barkley plays tonight in the Under Armor game on ESPN. He looked awesome on the QB challenge. Definitely looked like a 5* recruit. All of the other QB's in that challenge didn't look so hot except for one other guy, but can't remember his name. Nunes looked okay, but nothing spectacular.

I think everyone just needs to calm down. Neither Monte or "Big O" has yet to hit the recruiting trail.When word spreads on our coaching staff and kids read in to it I have a feeling more are going to let CLK & Co. give them a chance. We just got to have patience.

So Boyd made a few passes and now he's an All-American according to his HS coach?? That's cool, I have a feeling that Blake Bell or Phillip Sims will be roaming our sidelines next season and both a twice the QB that Boyd is. Gotta love HS players who think they are good because of an all-star game that the defense only had 1 week to gel and try and make plays.

I still think Kiffin did the right thing. Boyd would not fit into the USC style offense one bit.
