evan hailes choosing to commit to penn st is not to big a loss in our 2010 recruiting class. first of all he goes to a school ouside the SEC and second, we have brown, pat harris, and brandon willis seems to be liking the vols. hailes just never seemed to be that interesting to me. he seemed a little over weight and slow. if u want a big guy remember we still have the chance of james carmon! i dont c coach O letting him get away. and another dt i like is george uko from arizona. anybody else agree?

Whew I thought you were talking about Evan Berry. He's the only Evan I care about. All other Evans can go to he**. They can go to he** and die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not worried about the Dline. We will end up with one of the best in the country. These guys will also WANT to compete with the best.

He sucked. We didn't really want him. He had attitude problems. He wasn't a team player.

Did I miss anything?

Oh yea...

I can't wait until he meets Eric Berry going across the middle.

He really didn't fit Lane Kiffin's scheme.

I think this type of thing should officially be called "Didntcommittomyschoolitis"....

Symptoms include: bashing a player that you once praised because he chose another school, downplaying the conference they committed to if it isn't your conference, mentioning other players that you already have committed at the position and talking about how much better they are.

He is one of the players who we'd definitely want; but like what Fulmer said, there are just too many good players out there. Had he committed to us, that would be great; if not, we still have plenty of options. I think we are shooting for 4 DTs and 3-4 DEs for class of 10'. Without playing a down under the current coaching staff, we are only one DT and one DE short of what we may expect. I really don't see any problem here after crossing Hiles' name off from our board. Maybe by the time you wake up tomorrow, we will get 2 D-linemen, who knows?

Don't forget about the manchild Anthony Johnson in 2011. He will be one of the top DT prospects in the country and is much more athletic than Hailes.

A rotation of Hughes, Walls, and A. Jeffrey from last year and J. Brown, Broussard, Harris and 1 more this year will provide a pretty solid foundation.

We will be more than fine.

Hello Troll. We are so glad to get your magnificent wisdom on this subject. There is some of this ......itis going around, but the fact is that no school is going to get everyone they offer.

He got away. Good bye, good luck, adios, sayonnara, and best wishes. There are more than enough "fish in the sea".

How about when a coaching staff backs off on a player because of a perception that said player is afraid of competition? That's what happened here. Perhaps you should educate yourself before speaking about things you do not know about.
