NIA did great. One time she made a basket, got hit hard (no foul called of course), went down, and did a complete backwards flip on the floor! Before I could have a heart attack, she popped right back up and ran down the court on defense. She's looking great, gule. Got player of the game and was very nice when Mickey asked her about not playing sooner etc. Sounded like a real team player and all around nice young lady!

Are there any potential junior college ladies who could figure into the Lady Vol program. I was reviewing the unsigned 2015 players and it appears that Monpermier removed the Lady Vols from her list.

Well reading the comments here we don't even need Cooper since Middleton is already a first team All American after one game. But nevertheless Brown is considered the better talent, and there is no question the post remains a far bigger need.

:hi:Encouraging Lady Vol team this year...only 8 turnovers the whole game...Harrison had 4 and two other players had 2 each. Megan Simmons would have had at least 5 and Massingale the same. The team shot 12 out of 14 free throws. Keep that pace and the Lady Vols will destroy some teams.

Brown was not our top recruit. She might have been the top one remaining, or she might not. We don't know who the coaches had highest on their board out of her and Beatrice. But signing a post shot up in importance when the extent of Russell's problems manifested themselves. Either way, there are a couple of recruits already in the same class who are more important to us than Brown would have been if you count Diamond.

I have banged the drum about not having enough posts going forward as loudly as anyone but with the emergence of Moore that is lessened just a bit. If Izzy has to redshirt, or we get Beatrice then there is no problem going forward at all at center.
