Slowly but surely the LV are drifting out of the WBB elite, and it will take 4 ever or not to regain that status, sad very, very sad for such a once proud program.:mf_surrender:

Some of you people need to step away from the keyboard.
Well he does have a bit of a point. If you look at the numbers, they are certainly trending downward. They haven't made it past the Elite Eight since they won the Championship in 08. They are 5-12 vs Top 10 teams the past 4 seasons. They have only beat 2 Top 5 teams in 6 seasons.

When was the last time they beat Uconn, ND, Baylor, or really any good team historically?

This team does not care. Early in the 4th quarter last night. KY took the ball out of bounds under their basket. Ky scored easily and Russell just through her hand up like oh well. I turned it off then.

The team is a mess. Warlick talked about the Vols after last night's game as if were were East Tenneseee or some third-rate program whose players are trying hard. Embarrassing. We so so very badly need a smart, energetic, tough-minded, younger staff.

'I thought we had great looks,'' Tennessee coach Holly Warlick said. ''I thought we were going to win the basketball game. We had our chances. We had great shots. We had great looks. We didn't knock them down.''

This was hands down our best shooting game, so not sure what she is talking about. It's one thing to talk about missing a free throw at the end of the game, but you can't blame a missed free throw on the game when you have 21 TO's. That's your problem.

Glad to see the shooting percentage increase to a decent amount. Think about our record if we would of shot 41.8% all year.

If our defense improves, our shooting % tonight carries over for the rest of the season, and our TO's get shaved down by a 1/3, we'd be a force to handle.:dunno:

Said after last year that it was no longer an elite program. You can't go this long between Final Fours in women's basketball and still be considered elite. Current recruits can barely remember a Lady Vols team in the Final Four - probably contributes to the fact we can't sign any.

This year is just more slipping down the ladder.

She's talking about the end of the game. Despite all of our TOs, we still had our chances to win the game at the end.
