There are a TON of open seats in this Georgia game.. I don't care if you're playing Buffalo... If Tennessee was ranked #6 in the nation and was playing Buffalo in a home opener, you'd be hard pressed to find an open seat at all..

What the deal with the Dawg fans?

Probably, the same issues that most every sports stadium is dealing with nowadays

The economy; ticket prices being quite high; the fact that you can watch a game just as well (if not better) from your own living room nowadays

Yep, used to be the only way to see your team play was live in the stadium. Now you can watch games on your phone.

I sold my BG tickets today, and I'm watching games on my pool deck while posting on couple message boards and lurking on Twitter.

FWIW there were a bunch of empty seats in Atlants last night, and there will be a bunch of empty seats in Gainesville and Tallahassee today.

You'd rather troll us all day? I'm honored. :)

And yes, the economy is down the toilet. Our crowd showed up pretty good. Top of our section was only one that didn't look completely full. I figured the NC St side would be lacking due to the distance and I'm sure "most" of their fan base isn't that dedicated to football.

You know I love this place. :)

UT always travels well. NC State, not so much.

I don't know about Athens, but I live own here in Tallahassee and it is well over 100 degrees today with the heat index. Watching games live this far down in the deep south this time of year is no fun at all. Add in a directv sports package and a big screen tv and it's a no-brainer.

I doubt it. The days of 100,000 people in the stands for any scrub opponent that shows up are over.
