I don't think I've ever seen ranked team play a conference game in a power 5 conference and be relegated to the non-television-broadcasted, online-only game. But it is Wake Forest, I guess.

Louisville won last year's matchup 45-21, and when Wake Forest last came into this game undefeated in 2019 (Wake Forest came into the 2019 Louisville game with a 5-0 record and ranked #19) the Cardinals won 62-59.

It must be the kicker's birthday. The fans were loudly chanting "Happy Birthday" before he attempted the first FG kick of the day.

3-0 Wake

Nice drive and TD by Louisville. I think this might be the first time Wake has trailed all season in FBS play?

7-3 Louisville in the 1st

Wake hits a beautiful deep TD pass and get a FG on a really bizarre last second for the half.

Wake was at the LOU 1 on 3rd down with 4 seconds left and decided to try to rush the ball in only to get stuffed...Louisville players and the coach start celebrating. Clawson comes out saying that he called a timeout with 1 second left on the game clock (which surprisingly is how ref calls it after the play ended). They review the play and (almost miraculously) as the Wake Forest running back was tackled, the defenders took him to the ground with about 0.5 a second left. So Wake Forest got to attempt an 18 yard FG with 1 second left before going into the half.

20-17 Wake Forest

Wake's defense stepped up after their QB threw an INT at their own 30. Louisville was limited to just a FG, making it 27-27 in the 4th quarter. Cardinals have scored 10 unanswered points now.

On Josh Scoba's (Wake Forest's kicker) 22nd birthday, he makes a 22 yard FG - his 22nd FG of the year - to make it 37-34 Wake Forest with 22 seconds left in the game.

That's all she wrote. #24 Wake Forest wins 37-34 to move on to 5-0.

And again, Wake Forest kicker made his 22nd FG of the year with 22 seconds left to win the game with a 22-yard FG on his 22nd birthday
