And even after beating Tennessee and making back to back bowls, Mark Stoops still disappoints.

31-7 now. Same year as every year at UK. Beat nobodies first half then weak defense gets weaker as year goes on. Loose to everyone second half of season. Credit does go to them for managing one difference. They beat the Vols.

They beat SC.

Part of the routine under Stoops. It's the annual first half win that gets them thinking this is the year it will be different.

It's the nature of our schedule. The harder games will always come later in the season. 7 wins is good enough for me. To be as bad as we were throughout the season and still find a way to win 7 encourages me for next year. Hope to see Benny 3.0.

7 wins is better than 2. Stoops may never get to the next level but oh well. Same issue with Butch. He is gonna leave the job way better than he got it.

Leave the job? Stoops is coaching well enough to stay there as long as he wants. He isn't doing good enough for a big job to come calling, but he'll be at Kentucky for as long as he wants.

Whether he leaves/gets fired tomorrow or 20 years from now, it's a million times better than 2011 Joker Phillips status.
