Louisville is bad; Seton hall is less bad, but still pretty mediocre.
They(SH) do a tremendous job of hanging onto the ball and working cautiously, which pays dividends vs woeful opponents. Harvey and mitchell won't be huge losses next year, and no way does hazell leave early, so '11 could be a big push for them.
From a relative standpoint, this year's Seton Hall team is incredible. I think they are a tourney team. We'll see how they do against the rest of the Big East schedule, but they are in an enviable position. A Big East schedule isn't likely to set up much better than theirs. I think the Big East puts a run at getting 8 in, if that happens, they only have to jump 4 teams to which they are superior anyway.
Keep in mind, their losses so far have come to teams that are all going to be playing in the 'AAs.
That said, I agree with your last point, next year is the year they really make some noise
You might be right, they could come on strong as the season nears conference tourney-time, but their inability to get to the line that much combined with poor defensive rebounding makes me think otherwise for 09/10.
Although Ferrakhon Hall just sounds like he has to be a great player, so maybe with more minutes they'll land in the tourney.
