I think it's REALLY unlikely that the SEC would go after both UNC and Duke. It's a loser as far as market share.

The only ACC schools the SEC realistically are looking at are likely VT and NCSU, and there are hurdles for both.

None of the rest make any sense from a TV market standpoint, which is what matters now.

They don't for football, which is what this is all about.

Further, it's not an issue of how many fans each team has. It's about how many TV sets will be accessed. UNC and Duke access the same sets, so the addition of one is sort of canceled out by adding the other.

Slive has always wanted UNC and Texas. He would take Duke in a heartbeat if it means UNC coming...VT and NcState are just TV's for the SEC. Just like Mizzou.
