Good year for the Cards. It's hard to fault Tom Jurich for being a shrewd businessman, but there is a great deal of consternation about their deal with the Yum Center. Basically, it's going under financially because the Cards have first right for anything during basketball season. And taxpayers are footing the bill.
It's a down year for the world.
Probably would have won a national title in football already if Petrino hadn't bolted.Louisville's men and women's basketball programs aren't exactly strangers to making the Final Four recently, and Charlie has the football program on a steady climb.
Louisville would have been a good fit in the SEC competitively, but they don't add much in the way of new TV markets for the conference.
I wouldn't go that far, but they've had a nice run.
You were doing fine until you made that ludicrous statement. Kentucky owns Louisville in cheerleading, And every other school for that matter.
#hardcorefan CFL GBB blah blah
I know either way it's a difference of less than 5 titles (especially small considering you can win, what, three a year?), but I was fairly certain that Louisville surpassed Kentucky back in 2008 or 2009 and has kept ahead to this point.
Could be wrong, though.
