Now that the Big East has without a doubt become the joke of the country for a BCS conference where do they head? I'm hearing they are trying to get into the Big 12, can't think they stay around the Big East for very long even though they will now pretty much own it in hoops and football.

I think they are #16 in the ACC.

Then I think the Big Ten gets Rutgers and UConn.

That'd be a bit of an unwieldy number for a conference like the ACC at this point, especially with Louisville not really bringing in enough to the conference pie to balance that out

They don't have the kind of value as "team 11" to the big 12 as they did to them when a 10th team was needed to keep the conference's TV contracts afloat and some of the other schools like OU weren't overly comfortable with adding a school like WVU (note I said school, not team) to that conference as team #10.

Now, all Louisville would do is give them an awkward number at 11 (ruin their round robin schedule setup and force them to find another school eventually) and split up the conference "pie" without really adding much anything to it with their joining.
