This reminds me of the Memphis football situation. They have rabid fans, yet only about 15- 20,000 go to games. We'll see next September how great a hire this is.

I'm positive Dave Hart is a joke of an AD. The rest is moronic. No Vol fan wants to see the team lose, but it doesn't mean we have to agree Jones is the right hire. What exactly has he proven he can do for UT? That's right, not a damn thing. LOL at people who believe they have the power to say who is and isn't a Vol fan.

garbage thread bro, not everybody is going to agree. i was ready to throw myself off a building earlier and i still think hart is a tool, but i'm going to give jones the benefit of the dought here. he wanted the job, lets see the staff he puts together and how recruiting goes before i hang myself.lol

not going to say your wrong bro by any means, but right now i'm in the hope for the best expect the worst attitude. jones will have to make a believer out of me. going back to a 4-3 is a good start. bringing graham and pittman back will help.

I'm just saying if we want this program, to grow back up we as fans must build a ladder to climb!

it will be on jones head to build the ladder, he will have to prove it on the field. hard schedule next year will be challenging especially with a fanbase that wants to win now and not give much time. like i said i'll take the wait and see approach, but i'm not excited enough to visit neyland next year unless he can pull off a top 10 recruiting class which won't happen.

The people saying he hasn't done anything, wtf? He won his conference championship what? 4 times in 6 years..than you "but it was the Big East?! It was some no name conference?!" Well what's was he supposed to do? Win the! SEC while coaching a team in the Big East? So a coach that hasn't had the opportunity to coach a team in this conference yet gets a strike against him because he hasn't coach won a conference championship in a.conference he hasn't even coach in yet? Please! From what I know of him (truthfully not a great deal, but enough to say this) he has be successful every where he's coached. I'm not saying he is gonna be the MAN, but I will say you can't say he won't with anymore proff or rason than I can come up with saying he will. What it comes down to is the posters personality IMO if you have a crybaby or woe is me, life ain't fair , blah blah blah, personality, well how how.you react to this type of situation. Buncha crybabys round hurahh! Laughable really

this is not negative telling people they have to like what you like? I will say that I am in a wait and see mode. I am not going to bash him at the same time I am not going to get all giddy. CBJ can start by hiring a great coaching staff, one that I like not the opinion of others. Then he needs to ahve at least a top fifteen recruiting class and that will be another step in the direction I am wanting the team I cheer for to go. And last but not least be competitive on the field no matter who we are playing. Notice I did not say win I said competitive. I am tired of looking like we do not belong in the SEC anymore. When i say these thing I am saying them from my point of view not the sheep that say what others want one way or the other. Not because some keyboard tough guy wants to say "get on board or GTFO" or "CBJ is a loser and so are you for going for him" ,I am my on man and have never ever let what the crowd is doing influence me in any way. So GBO and I AM A VOL TIL I FALL but please understand that I do not have to agree with anyone. Now got to work CBJ and prove to me either way that you do or do not belong to coach this great football program.
