Love it.

You can't help but love it. Not many teams would bounce back after two heartbreaking losses, but Barnes and his staff put a good game plan together, and the team executed it from start to finish. Adoo crashed the boards, and looked the best I've seen him. This is the kind of win going forward that creates momentum. This is a fun team to watch, and that's coming from a Carolina fan.

What a great win. Vescovi I think finally shook the late game free throw bug. Mashack locked down a top 5 pick for 40 minutes. Aidoo clutch swats Zieglers control and late game sealing lay up, collapsing the D and kicking it to the right guy.

Most impressed by the energy and effort for 40 full minutes. Fought hard, didn’t see many lulls. Barnes was on too. Made Tennessee proud tonight 🍊🍊🍊

I love it because the trolls are beaten back under the bridge for a bit so I can return to this forum again. It’s miserable around here after a loss, especially after 2 or 3.

I agree but if you just put those few people in ignore, this board becomes so much better. I don’t even see some of the crazy threads they start. Occasionally I hit the ‘show ignored content’ button just to remind me why I put them on ignore in the first place.

Added bonus - if we all did that, they would soon just disappear because all they really want are replies to fuel their fire.

This has been a maddening year in dealing with expectations game to game. I do not recall a year where so many players have exhibited as wide a range of on court production. You expect that from younger guys like Phillips and Tobe, and two of our leaders, JJJ and Santi, have had to deal with working their way back from injuries, but WIDE range of output game to game by Key and ORN and to some extent Plav has simply been crazy. From near perfection to OFER status rather than most games being within a statistical tighter range creates in game voids on the offensive end that are hard to overcome. It appears that is just who we are, so we can indeed know we can beat most anybody and we can lose to most anybody depending on where guys are in their cycles. Hard to beat if enough are not at the bottom of their ranges. On the other hand......................

Sometimes I wish I shared your resolve and restraint.

Haha. Chris, I’ve had my moments on here. Ive learned from them, I think. :). I just enjoy people like you, Freak,BTO, etc and several others and don’t want to ruin the good experiences. I also miss some of the old timers from back before the sites merged. Great b-ball knowledgeable people have been on here for many years. And that is what I choose to enjoy. :)

Wasn't particularly pretty but a win over #1 is always awesome. Especially against those &$#%# from Bama.

Think this team and the fans just needs to embrace their identity as defense first, second and third.

I still cannot believe BruinVol just disappeared. Did anyone ever figure out what happened to him?

His last post from late November…
I’ve stayed away from VN for awhile now mainly because I despise the state that college athletics is in. I hate the transfer portal and I hate the NIL landscape BUT

I felt the need to come here and shed light on what I see that Hendon Hooker has done in both of my areas of “hate”. Sure he’s won more than any of us ever dreamed but more importantly he’s carried himself in a way that’s showed us “haters” that good can come in what we see as a flawed system!

MR Hooker you have spread the Word of Christ, you have led this University with pure class, and in my case you have created change of the heart!

So #5 you are always welcome on this old man’s lawn and I will shed a tear in your honor tomorrow as you run thru the T the last time!!

That helps to explain it, I guess.
