In the end, the massive PR attempt to link it somehow with Breaking Bad severely backfired.

It's a shame they missed the target with this one. There were some very good actors on the show, but they tried to force the subject matter and it just didn't work.

Part of the problem is the original it's based on was only a mini-series about 6 hours long.

I watched the entire season. It had its moments, but it was also wandered at times. The way it played out, wouldve been pointless for a second season.
