don't know but i'd much rather have to deal with the tigers winning the NC rather than hearing...what would it be now, 15? claimed for Bama

I agree. Don't think anyone is knocking off LSU this year, including Bama.

I've changed my opinion every week, so I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the game. Hope the UT game isn't at the same time.

Same thing was being said about florida in 09. We simply didn't come out focused tonite. That won't happen in two weeks.

I think Bama's starting line up is better but LSU has much better overall depth ie a better team. On paper this should be about as close as you can get, very similar teams, Bama has more bulk on the D but LSU has better speed.

I like LSU's offense, back on track, to me the most efficient offense in the country. Nothing fancy but just getting better every week. Not afraid to go deep, not afraid of running up the middle, not afraid of screens, etc. Stats are deceiving on LSU's O. IMHO

I give a very very slight edge to Alabama based on home field and more upper class-men but boy this seems close on paper.

It might come down to kicking in that case I give a slight edge to Wing as punter, FG kickers about even.

No it wasn't. This board knew AL was the better team and said constantly.

LSU has a better team, but playing in yor sewer helps even the deal.

Bama has an outstanding team but LSU might be a bit better. The difference is see is LSU has more playmakers on their team. What they did to the Barn yesterday was impressive, LSU literally beat them up.

Bama does get them at home though, should be a great game to watch.

Not remotely true...

UF's '09 team was unimpressive all year long, and anyone paying attention could see Bama was the better team leading up to the SECCG.

Tennessee showed that if you can load 8 in the box and play man on the outside you can stuff Bama. Tenn's problem is we couldn't play outside worth a damn. I think LSU has the talent at corner and safety to play man-to-man, and the depth to stuff the run for 4 quarters.

I honestly don't see a weakness in LSU's offense. They can just about beat anyone with their WRs on the outside, and have more than an impressive ground game.

Nod to LSU on this one.

LSU has a better QB and offense...too much speed on the outside. Bama will be lucky to score 17.

I am is fired up to watch this game as I could be for a non UT game. It's about respect and watching football players absolutely finishing plays on offense and defense.

I agree with all of this. If LSU stays away from turnovers its their game to lose.

I expect it to be a war. I'd give the edge to LSU. They have the better offense.
