UT band making the trip?

Is the UT band making the trip to Death Valley? If not, the whole country will at least be spared Rocky Top 1000 times. I find that song THE most annoying, even over "I've been workin on the railroad." I can't imagine the band parents would let their little sweeties travel under these conditions.

With just our "pep" band last week, I could hear Rocky Top very well on the CBS coverage. :thumbsup:

Yeah, I they played it after every offensive play for positive yardage.

I think Rocky Top should be played for any gain of 10+ yards or any first down, turnover in our favor, field goal, PAT, TD, 2pt conv., safety, or any kick return that makes it to the 20.

wow that was hil-freakin-larious!! i love that other people hate rockytop. It gives us an edge pissin off other fans. I cant think of a song in the sec that i hate....non of them compare to rockytop

To be honest, I'm not worried at all about our offense. It will be tested against a good defense, but offense is an area where we visibly exceled.

As for secondary...it was our first game, on the road. I'll give them a get out of jail free card for that game. I'm sure we will be improved for the TN game, but how much improved? We'll have to wait and see.

I didn't say I hated it. I think it's pretty catchy. Maybe it's my bias, but I'd get bored of only hearing that song. The Golden Band from Tigerland has a multitude of songs that they play and has a different significance tied to each one.

As a former member of the Pride i find that statement offensive. There's no need to bang on the Pride like that. I hope they play rockytop at least 80 times..just like the Bammer game in 03!!!
