More brutal than the petition, imo.

And of course...

In the likely event that LSU will not accept the funds raised here, all monies will be donated to the Louisiana flood relief effort.

Amanda Barker nailed it in the comments.

Clay also has an interesting take:

This seems pretty classless to me. He lost one game against a strong opponent in a weird venue.

Not surprised, Les is getting slaughtered right now.

A million doesn't put a dent in what is owed though. Not sure what the school is going to do, Cam making it to November might be suspect. I think unless the run the tables, which is not going to happen, Les has lost most of even his long-term supporters.

LSU's schedule now looks pretty tough.

Unless they get a GoFundMe that can bring Saban back it won't matter. 2nd and 3rd fiddle to Bama till then no matter who is on their sidelines.

Same thing will happen if we lose VT, book it

No.

Grumblings, yes. Irrational fans overreacting? Certainly.

Anything resembling the gofundme page or what happens after a Bama loss with their fan base...negative. Won't happen.

There are at least 2 coaches that would make me turn off the Tigers for probably good... Lil Nicky or his Lil Side Pocket *****. :)

Losing games is okay, generally, matters how they are lost and the situation.

It's not just that they lost - it's how they lost and how LSU fans perceive their program relative to Alabama.

LSU fans have a real inferiority complex with Alabama. At the moment, I think it is even greater than the one Auburn has with them.

They hate Miles because he can't beat Saban, and it hurts even more because Saban used to be at LSU and won a national title with them. Even the last time Miles did beat Saban, fate would have it that they had to play them again in the Natty, which they of course lost. So in effect their 9-6 win earlier that year doesn't really matter.

I don't think the $$$ will be nearly as much of an issue this year. Something like 6.5 mil if it happens at the end of the season.

Well if U of H gets in Big 12...Herman stays there, so LSU maybe gets jilted again. Would Jimbo leave FSU? Even with Clemson and an improving Louisville, I gotta think FSU is better gig than having to go through Bama, Arky, Ole Piss, Starkvegas, and Aubbie.

Bama is just another team to most LSU fans, Lil Nicky, yes, I would say LSU fans can't stand the little bastard.

As far as LSU, its going to be a very rough year, if the offensive line doesn't magically improve. I think people are stunned by the OL play or lack of, worse OL play I think I have ever seen from the Tigers.

I was curious since the LSU fan video blogger LSUdad made a video making fun of our performance at the end of Thursday's game and I wanted to see the comments section for fun. He has since taken down his video about us on YouTube.

Not totally on topic here, but not worth its own thread and I wanted to share.

Guess LSU has big enough problems not to be making fun of anyone else now.

Really?

It appears to be that 95% of the reason LSU fans want Miles fired is because he can't beat Alabama. Their team has completely come apart since they lost to Alabama last year.

None of this is easy, its easy to say this or that from the sidelines, but we all have to remember there is competition. LSU's OL was about as bad as I have ever seen and I have been watching LSU football for over 30 years.

The only team I really throw rocks at is TAM, and to be honest I like Sumlin, I just don't like that type of football, of course, watching LSU's OL was pretty brutal as well.
