LSU Game -- Day or Night

I'd like it to be a night game. Just hope it won't be as cold as it was in 2001 when we played Carolina at night. Man, it was cold that night.

That game was ridiculously cold . . . I vote night game, though. Why should we have to face the wrath of roudy drunken fans at night down in Baton Rouge, without returning the favor?

If Betty and Ethel even get liquored up, can they be intimidating?

Well, let's see....

that same day, the following SEC games take place:
FL @ Vandy
GA@ KY
ARK @ SC
MSU @ Bama

other than that Aburna and Ole Miss play cupcake OOC games...

SO unless we both suck out loud, i'd say TN/LSU will be a 3.30 EST CBS game. Though i could see a scenario where if UF was undefeated, they may want to show them on national TV, as they would probalby be ranked 1 or 2 in the naiton at that point....

Only if CBS choosed to air the the UGA or UF game....but i don't see that happening...

Does CBS get first dibs?

If Arkansas lives up to half the hype built around them, their game vs. South Carolina could be appealing... eh, who am I kidding, LSU/UT is the best game on that day.

It was sunny in middle Tennessee that day... Dad and I were out in the woods hauling in firewood for the winter and listening to that almost disastrous loss on the radio. What was the final in that one, 38-35?

well, you may be on to something...you can't deny the national appeal of Spurrier...and if both of those teams are winning, you never know...especially if ARK does in fact have the kind of year some think (me included) they will....

but i still see that game as the night game on ESPN....

I would say depending on record, night game ESPN 7:30.
Given the rest of the SEC schedule that day is awful, if the game isn't on CBS TCHFCATUTK or Miles(or both) will have some serious explaining to do.

:birgits_giggle: yep...that's for sure....if both of these teams are bad enough for CBS to pass this up, then they may not be around to explain themselves...

i think this game is a slam dunk on CBS that day.
