Do we have any LSU fans that lurk here? I don't think I've ever seen any. I'm really interested to hear how Zach Mettenberger is doing this fall with the recent Jordan Jefferson news.

I really hope The Mad Hatter tries to toss Jarrett Lee out there this year. I think our improved secondary, even sans Jackson, could eat Lee alive.

I fully expect Mettenberger to start, unless there's something I don't know.

One of the guys on ESPN said they would start Lee with this latest news but I think that is because he forgot about Mettenberger. If Miles puts Lee in at QB over him that would just prove how stupid the mad hatter really is.

Give Mettenburger a shot. They should already know Lee isn't starting material. But hey, better for us.

No matter who LSU lines up at quaterback this season, be it Jefferson, Lee, or Mettenberger, that person is merely a caretaker whose sole objective is move the ball and minimize turnovers. LSU's defense and depth wins them 9 games this season. The offense steals 1.

10-2. Smoked by Oregon. We beat them by 6-9 points. That being said I believe Mettenberger is a hidden gem.

Lee will be starting and is the guy, Mett will be used if it comes to that but he is not ready. I have always preferred Lee to Jefferson, they finally got rid of Crowton but with 3 OCs in 7 months I don't know how well this is going to turn out. Lee has been a class act considering all he has gone through. Lee has the ability to lead this team, he needs the team behind him.

Let's be serious. He won't serve jail time. Charges will be dropped. He has one of the best lawyers in the area representing him FOR FREE (which should be a violation in itself, but I digress) and he will be back on the team in no time.
