37 in total. They lead the nation now, over taking Ole Miss. that’s twice in the same week (Rocco Jell-O shot record earlier)

In typical Tennessee fashion, none were against the Vols.

Brocade if the penalties, Les Miles saw his winning percentage dip below .600. He’s no longer eligible for the college football hall of fame. What a shame.

I compare Miles to Fulmer.

Both were great coaches at the time but neither one adapted their play style that suits the game today.

Yep. That's a great comparison. I'd say Les had a little more of a leg up when he took the LSU job than Phil did when he took the Tennessee job, due to having followed Saban and LSU winning a national title just a few years before that.

So,
A kid's father takes $180k, the money was embezzled by an LSU donor, and the kid is deemed ineligible after his 4 years in Baton Rouge passed in 2015?

Is the embezzlement just an interesting side story to the dad taking money from a donor?

Since LSU self imposed those sanctions, it seems to me that they wanted to send a parting shot to Miles.

I think that’s how the info was found out, the donor was arrested and convicted and during the investigation this was discovered

I don’t know for sure so if I’m wrong then someone correct me

Strange thing is, the investigation didn’t begin until three years after the kid last played? What is statue of limitations?

I am surprised NCAA didn't push for vacating the Rohan Davey wins retroactively as well.
I guess they let it go since he was long gone.
It's an effective form of buying players, continue to pay after the player's college career ends.
