Definitely the marquee game of the week in the SEC this week.

plenty of story lines with Saban involved, the resurgence of Bama, and these two teams being the only two in the West that control their destiny to get to ATL.

So, does lightning strike twice and JPW have another heisman performance? or do they get brought back down to Earth by playing a much better defense than what they saw the last time they took the field?

for me, i think LSU wins, actually, pretty easily. I think their defense is sooooooooo much better than ours it's hard to compare the Bama offense against the two teams.

however, i will be rooting for the Tide on Saturday.

i'm hoping against hope that we win out and make it to ATL, and that Bama wins out and makes it to ATL, and the Orange and Crimson get to do battle again for the SEC title.

would we win? hard for me to say yes considering. but when you go back thru the years there have been rematches, there have been several instances where the loser of the 1st game wins the rematch.......and i would just like another shot at them.

so with that.....eh, hem.......roll tide.

eh, it has more to do with it being Bama than anything else. and who do you think has more to learn from, from the 1st game...us or them?:eek:lol:

LSU.

Expect a great game, probably another nail biter. Lots for 4th down conversions for Miles.

LSU should roll. Any great performance an offense puts up against UT should be put in perspective.

i wont' disagree with that. i won't be comparing, as stated, Bama's offense against LSU to their performance against us, that's for sure. nor would i use it as an indicator of what to expect against LSU.

still though.....TN vs Bama just sounds good for the SEC title game imo.

Oh. That is what I would love, a Bama v Tenn rematch in the SECCG. I know if we played UF 10 more times they would kick our a$$ the way the did in Gainesville. I don't feel the same about Bama. They beat us bad, but that is certainly a team we could beat.

We gotta get by Ark, KY and Vandy 1st...but an Orange and Crimsom rematch would be excellent!!!!!!

...reality check, LSU pounds Bama this weekend.

LSU wins by 14. It will be good the first half then the 2nd half Miles takes over with his D. I would rather play Bama than LSU anyday myself...

Well, I think it will be close. This is the only time of year that I pull for LSU cause I actually hate Bama more. Go Tigers, (oh that hurt!LOL)

We nip 'em by a field goal after Les Miles calls for a drop kick on first down, which we block and return to their 20.

for the life of me i can't understand why LSU fans hate saban. if you took my team from mediocre/lousy to a national championship you could piss on my grandma's grave, go coach UCLA and run up the score every game, and i would still give you a standing ovation.

Who do you want to win this week, and why?

Bama - because you'd rather face Bama if we make it to the SECCG, thinking it would be easier to beat Bama than LSU.
Bama - same reason as above, except you want revenge for the debacle in Tuscaloosa.
LSU - same reason as above, except you want revenge for last year's fumble-not-called-a-fumble and last second TD pass to win.
LSU - so someone in the SEC has a chance at the NCG.

I want Bama :)sick:) because I want another shot at them and I think our chances are better against them then LSU. Of course I doubt they make it, but a guy can dream right?
Then again, I'd like LSU to beat the sh*t out of tOSU for the title....decisions, decisions....

Just wondering what everyone else's thoughts were...

While I'd like another shot at Bama that depends on us winning out and me pulling for Bama.

The first one is unlikely, the second will NEVER happen.

Realistically, LSU should win.

Bama was pretty mediocre until the UT game. They struggled at home with Arky (comeback win), lost at home to Georgia, struggled to win at Ole Miss (looked bad) and nearly blew it against Houston at home.

We stunk it up and suddenly people thought Bama was a really good team. LSU should expose them.
