LSU vs Arkansas Fumble Review

Just a minute ago, the refs in the LSU vs Arky game reviewed a fumble and recovery which occurred after the player had been ruled down.

My understanding, after the TN / Vandy game, is that once the player is ruled down, they cannot review any part of the play that occurs after the whistle is blown. Accordingly, they would have had to rule the play a fumble on the field in order for it to be reviewed.

Did they refs make the same mistake again? I like Ritter as an official, but it seems this is once again the same error.

Reviewable, but I don't think the ball can be advanced in that situation.

If they blew the whistle then the Ark player would be ruled down and it would not be a turnover.

I believe the officials are supposed to rule the ball carrier down but not blow the whistle. I don't believe there was a whistle in this case. The whistle would end the chance to review.

No, posession can change on replay, but if the play was ruled dead then the advancement wouldn't count.
