I know LSU wears white for home games so for the ut game will they wear Purple jersey? Just asking cause I want to know what color ut jersey to take. Thanks

LSU choses to wear their away (white) jerseys at home, as long as the other team allows them to.

Tennessee will wear their normal home jerseys and LSU will wear white.

LSU's purple are more of special alternates then road jerseys.

They wore them last week though didn't they?

I know that LSU wore that purple jersey against Auburn....I'm pretty sure they did......Maybe wrong on that one?

No, they are home jerseys.

However, they choose to wear the white away jerseys at home. To do that however, they must have permission from the visiting team. I can remember when Spurrier wouldn't grant them the permission when he was at Florida.

It's the same thing we had to do when we wore the throwbacks. UNLV had to "allow" us to wear them, and they wore their home jerseys.

Oh ok, I woulda sworn they wore purple then but guess not...I guess I shouldn't have said "I know" I guess I should have said "I think" LOL

One team has to wear white according to NCAA rules. a few weeks ago they were trying to get the rule changed, but failed.
