Hats off to those guys. Playing without the heart of their offense they were slow early but that game winning 94 yard drive late in the 4th quarter was clutch.

They cleaned out the defensive coaches today - DC, D-Line, safties, and CB coaches all told "we appreciate your service, don't come back."

Any chance that Heupel looks at the cornerback coach to replace CWM if he retires or moves on elsewhere?

Their DBs were bad the last 2 yrs. Coaches also evaluated poorly, bringing in disgruntled portal CBs from A&M and Syracuse who failed to contribute at LSU.

There’s only 1 D Line coach they need to bring back, I mean hire. You guys know who it is.

Overall a really disappointing season for them. If you told me before the season started that Daniels was going to win the Heisman, I would have guessed they'd win the title again, or at least win the SEC/make the playoff.

But still finished with a better record than us back to back 10 win seasons for BK that’s not shabby. But Micheal Penix deserved the heisman over Daniels.

By a single game, yeah. And we had nowhere near a Heisman winner at the most important position on the field.

All 3 of their losses were to really good teams though.

Nussmeir has some experience but they’ll take a step back for sure. Plus they’ll have new defensive staff.

Saw earlier that LSU has hire Mizzus DC (Blake Bakker is his name I believe) to the same position. He is now the highest paid coordinator in football.

Guy did well with not much talent at Mizzu, he is getting a massing talent upgrade with this move

I’ve seen rumor posts on X but nothing official.

He was a huge part of their success in their 11-2 season this year. Potentially a good hire for LSU and definitely a rough(er) loss for Missouri (especially 6 days after he had just signed a $1.1M extension with Missouri, which at least looks to have a $960k buyout on their end).

Yeah that’s a good get for LSU and rough for Mizzou. That might impact their chances for a repeat 10 win season.
