i was worried before the season started but after watching their game saturday and now i think they've pissed our team off with this situation that is going on now so i think we're ready to go plus are D is better than ASU's and we should be able to stop their running game a WHOLE lot better and force them to throw it and pin our ears back and blitz all night long

All we have to do is pass. Their pass defense is worse than ours. But yeah, we need to worry about the Gators before we think about Loser U.

I could care less about LSU right now.

Will I be worried about them next week? Yes, but I have to channel my disdain to one team this week. Well, except for the usual hatred that goes Bama's way 24/7/365.

Hard to say.

After week 1, I was most worried about UGA due to their thrashing of Boise. After this week, I'm not as concerned.

LSU didn't look that good the other night but it was one game and their first game. I'm guessing their better than they looked.

well just to let you know, we feel the same about Tenn......you didn't look good. But we know it was your first game, and we know you are better than that. Apparently you don't use that logic. And also remember we played #15 ASU, you played UAB!!!!

I would hope so......not doubting them. But before you start bashing LSU's first game you might want to look at yours.

I'd imagine ASU might win a few as well???

Possibly. I think ASU will get served by USC and UCLA, and could still have trouble with a few other Pac-10 teams.

Ok Tigger, where was I bashing your game?? I was just stating the obvious, if not for the special teams play, you all would have been owned. But hey, special team TD's count to.

As for the UAB game, sure we struggled with them. I won't offer any excuses, it was just one game. One game that we won, never had to worry about getting the lead back and didn't have to depend on special teams to make up for our lack of scoring and swiss cheese secondary. (Now that might be bashing it a bit) :shades:

Why is it that whenever a Pac-10 team even so much as plays an SEC team close, it's always the fault of the SEC not showing up?

Whatever.

LSU's pass defense was supposed to be one of the better ones in the SEC, and they got shredded by a pass offense that will probably not even be the 2nd best in the Pac-10. They should be thankful the SEC has only one team with a halfway decent pass game.

What sucks is we will still run the ball all day and never open up the spread passing attack.

Hopefully Fulmer will exploit LSU's pass defense. I know it's usually better to establish the run to open up the pass, but I think LSU will probably end up just stuffing our run game and forcing us to pass, which is bad juju. In this case, I personally would find it better to establish the pass to open up the run. I'm not entirely sold that Riggs and crew will be physical enough to beat LSU's D-line into submission.

LSU is in fact dead last at #119 out of 119 Division I schools in pass defense. But look at who is at #118 -- Southern California.

Pass Defense (FoxSports)

Tennessee is a glittering #95. Yet we are all in the Top-10. It ain't the yards, boys . . . it's the wins. :shades:
