The incident itself is not funny but the fact that the guy that got his block knocked off went from having a big s*** eating grin on his face to just hittin the ground like a ton of bricks is kind of funny

Has no one ever told the Boise State guys that if they are going to "pop off" after the game.....keep your freakin helmet ON!

Better yet. Has anyone not taught Blount that sportsmanship should always be practiced and trash always has been and always be part of the game. Man up. You got beat. Take the lip and go home!!

Wrong. The guy did not just trash talk, he touched him. You put your hands on a grown man outside of the context of an athletic event and you will get beaten every time. If it happened in a club or outside a club (where I think it would not because he would have been too cowardly) he would get punched out and then stomped.

You do not touch a man especially while talking trash. You touch someone in an aggressive manner while yelling at them and it is on.

Let me get this straight. You push someone on the shoulder pads and deserve to get hit with a cheap shot across the chin while not looking?? From a guy still wearing his helmet no less!! I bet you won all of your high school fights by punching your opponent in the back of the head. Right?

The guy from Boise may be a douche for running his mouth after the game. Blount is a douche for running his mouth leading up to the game. The difference in the two is Blount's team could not back up his biatch mouth. He showed no self control or sportsmanship. It was a cheap shot. I can't believe you have no problem with that. My 7 year old son knows better that that childish BS. If you have a problem with someone, MAN UP!! Don't take the wuss route and "shoot them in the back."

I definitely didn't say I didn't have a problem with it.

I said he deserved it - because he does. And there is a big difference in talking to the media well BEFORE the game and talking to a player with high emotions and being a big douche right after a game that is tough to swallow. He had it coming. Chris Peterson agrees too so you lose.

I'm with you man. It wasn't right what happened, but the Boise State player had as much to do with what happened as anyone. Hell, if he just keeps his helmet on while talking his smack it probably doesn't happen.

What kind of childish remark is "Chris Peterson agrees too so you lose"? Blount could have pushed back or probably have taken him to the ground and would have been fine. But to ball up your fist and sucker punch someone crosses the line. Let me try these childish arguing tactics. Oregon obviously agrees with me and suspended him for the year so you lose. nah nah nah boo boo.

Not really - you're reading comprehension needs some work - you seem to have the reading comprehension of a child.

Go read the first line of my post again.

He deserved it - Chris Peterson was in his face before the punch was even thrown - and he's now punishing the DE internally.

Well, it is nice to know that God is walking the Earth in Chris Peterson's body since we must all agree with him. You keep getting your opinions from college coaches. I will continue to form my own. My opinion is that retaliation would have been fine if he didn't go as far as crossing the line with a cheap shot punch. You will not change that opinion. I don't care who agrees with you.
