Four-star prospect Luke Cothron has been considered a soft commitment to North Carolina State, but now the 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward is officially decommitted.

Looks like NC State may still be a favorite for CJ Leslie.

NC States class just got better. I cant believe the class they are putting together this year. Harrow will be a fantastic player.

Ryan Harrow is an NBA-caliber player. He went to my old high school where I played ball (Walton, in Marietta, Georgia) and almost carried his team single-handedly to the state tournament (which had 4 of the top 6 teams in the state).

If you don't believe me, check out his videos... The kid is a stud. Unbelievable. I see flashes of brilliance that I didn't even see when I played against Josh Smith (of the Atlanta Hawks) in 2003-2004.

Only reason he stuck with NC State was because they were the first to offer when he was a "3 star"..

Grr, I wish the Vols would have gotten this kid... Great pickup for NC State.

You're a Walton grad? that's unbelievable, because I just happen to be at Centennial.
Also, Harrow is a GREAT, TREMENDOUS, etc.... player. He can shoot lights out from 3. I really wanted UT to get him or his friend Lorenzo "ZO" Brown from Centennial.

UT needs immediate help on the frontline. Not a player who seems to be a project in the work ethic department. Pass and move on.

If UT can't grab a player who will contribute immediately, then they will hold the scholly for next year. Selby is the only guard that fits the mold along with maybe two or three post players. Abraham and Cothron do not fit this model.
