Lunardi…

Mentioned in the game thread that this would happen. Definitely is going to fuel the talking heads to say that the SEC wasn’t strong and that the seeding was correct after all. Vols and UK really ruined the argument for the conference.

What about all the other teams that have gotten upset Joe? Were they seeded incorrectly as well? I guess Baylor shouldn’t have been a 1? UConn and Iowa shouldn’t have been a 5? USC shouldn’t have been a 7? TCU, Creighton, and Memphis shouldn’t have been a 9? Seems a bit hypocritical 🐷

Lunardi is a leech on baseball. Could never dream of playing, just criticize players and teams. He doesn't like the SEC. A wormy fat leech.

Lunardi, we will never know how Tennessee would have faired as a 2 seed, will we? Theoretically we could have played Murray State yesterday instead of Michigan. Then, if we faced Michigan in New Orleans later, we would not have faced such a geographical disadvantage in terms of (Big 10) fan support.

He's an idiot. Hey, we gotta win the games in front of us and there's no getting around that, but playing Michigan w/ their talent who is peaking now, is like playing Oregon State last year. Our path much different than even Ark. Not that some of those mid tier small school teams aren't really good and who knows, if we pulled St Peter like KY, we may have lost to them too, but there is some validity to how we get the short straw every year on the bracket.

We still should have won the game...had it decently in hand before we went cold. Barnes has to somehow figure out how to get out of those scoring ruts. I felt like we were playing a "watch ball" towards the end...Chandler was hot and everyone just standing too much watching him do his thing.

2 seeds always have an easier path to the Sweet 16. Coming into this tournament since 1985, 6/11 seeds had won 47% of their 2nd round games compared to 35% for 7/10 seeds. Some people don’t think seeding matters but history says otherwise.
