Y’all are hilarious! You do realize we’ve had losses just as bad as a road loss to Vanderbilt correct? I would argue that Colorado is our worst loss this season or at least just as bad as the Vanderbilt loss. Honestly though in the last 30 seconds of that loss we had the game under control and we gave it to them. Who doesn’t take a WIDE open dunk to finish off the game, and how the hell does our senior, Vescovi, not can 2 free throws to finish it off?? Every road game in the SEC is hard. Our best team with Grant and Admiral struggled to beat teams on the road, but the difference between this team and that team is that team had go to guys in crunch time. They had several guy who could go get a game winning shot. Grant, Admiral, and the killer Lamonte Turner. We have too many Robert Hubbs type players on this team. Guys who lack the killer instinct, but solid players. Everybody on this team is like that. I’m beginning to think the problem is guys are focusing too much on their defense and not enough on offense. Tyreke Key is a bucket when he wants to be, and he needs to step up and start taking more shots. Same with Phillips and Vescovi. This team can still do great things because of their defense, but not until they turn it around on offense. I foresee this being a very serious moment for the team, and hopefully it’s a come to Jesus moment for them. Hopefully the letdowns now will help build them back up for the tournament.
