Should we just look into Lunardi's RPI?

What's the difference between all these types of RPI's?

And obviously he's basing off his brackets by his own RPI.

Lunardi's vs ESPN's.

TN: 39 vs 43
AR: 57 vs 57

So with Lunardi's RPI, that's why he's stating we could lose to AR and still get in IMO

So the question is: Does the committee put stock into Joe Lunardi's RPI formula?

Why do we have to settle every year to just win one game and we're in? How about let's go into this thing looking to win the damn tourney. Then they'll be no worries.

Dougie you've asked this before and it has been answered, there's only one RPI formula. BPI which you may be looking at is something different that espn made up themselves. It could also be when they're looking at the RPI, it's constantly moving, so he could've taken our ranking at a certain point.

Florida cannot be beaten by anyone in the SEC..They will only lose in this tournament if they play the worst game imaginable.

I think that's a little bit of a stretch. No doubt they are good, but if we play the way we have the last few, it wouldn't take much of a slip to beat them

Some sights have varying RPI reports... not sure how it happens.

UT's BPI is 33 but the comittee has stated that it won't use that as a reference or tool.

RPI formula is the same, but as I mentioned the RPI varies. The NCAA releases an official RPI number each week, they only update once a week though. Other sites update daily, some every few minutes, that's why you see different numbers.

Just saw on ticker tape of MO/Texas AM game that Lunardi put GA on the Bubble. Have not seen that anywhere else. No where in sight, so why list them as a bubble team, just about the ratings I guess.....81 BPI Really

The LRPI according to this glossary is the Prefered Lunardi RPI (whatever that is)

It's his own twist on the RPI formula, along the same lines as the BPI

LunaRPI (LRPI) simply excludes home games from the standard RPI calculations. At this point of the season, when many traditional powers have played few (if any) games away from home, the numbers are going to be really screwy. They'll make more sense after a month or so of conference play and become even more helpful in handicapping teams for NCAA tournament purposes.
