I wish Dave Clark made it in, he was only a sophomore so he could play one more JUCO season so maybe we try to get him in again?

Nuke!!!

KIDDING!

I have actually been curious about that potential situation. Obviously, his time here was a disappointment (understatement, I know), but could there any interest on UT's part (or Nuke's for that matter) if UT doesn't land any other top JUCO DBs?

If that question was as stupid as I'm worried it may be, please don't rip me too badly, haha.

Don't think so. Why even take the risk? He has blown it at two different schools already, and is currently trying not to swing at a third strike. I hope he can keep it together for his sake, but the only orange I ever expect to see him wear again is state issued.

My understanding is, Nukeese quit going to Hampton because he had a better opportunity at Juco.

And the Hampton coach told the media that he just up and left with no warning. Another failed commitment on his part.

I'm sure some SEC school will take a risk on him. Maybe Auburn or Alabama if 'Bama's secondary stays in trouble.

That 1st play of the Auburn game doesn't prove your point. If he was a playmaker that would've been a TD. His speed was on par with the overhype of Chris Donald.
