After playing for the Seminoles in 2013 on their run to the NCAA championship match, McClung opted to leave Florida State and continue her career at another school.

Among the stipulations of her scholarship release was McClung couldn’t transfer to another program in the Atlantic Coast Conference, of which Florida State is a member, and be eligible in 2014.

So after finishing finals last December, McClung quickly visited six schools — Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama, and West Virginia — in order to be enrolled for spring of 2014 and start working out with the team.

McClung chose Tennessee, where her grandfather, Ford Quillen, and great-grandfather, George “Speedy” Burdette, played football for the Vols.

I'm sorry (for her) that she was unhappy at her original choice, but I'm delighted that she's now a Lady Vol.

I don't think that she'll find a better pitch than here, except maybe for the times when the wind is blowing the wrong way.

Welcome aboard, Anna, and go Lady Vols!! :pepper:
