A&M is no longer "little brother" here. I live in Austin, and the change from August 2012 to now is crazy. Even stores in Austin are selling A&M gear now. Texas fans, whether or not they want to admit it, are scared. At the worst, A&M is now on equal footing with them. At best, they've passed the fake UT already. And I find humor in a grown man on the hot seat feeling the need to defend his program from a 20 something year old college kid. Mack is losing control, and he feels the heat.

A&M has leapfrogged ahead

Again, no it hasn't...

The Texas Vs A&M record

Is almost exactly the same as the

Tennessee vs Vandy record

And I can assure you outside of SEC fans, no one gives 2 sh%ts about the SEC.

Texas always got the 5 stars and a&m always got the 3 stars. That's not happening anymore. It's a new day in Texas. Their greed in conference revenue will be their undoing.

We can disagree.

In terms of exposure and national brand. Right now A&M has gone ahead of Texas. Not saying that cant go back in the future. Last Heisman winner, recruiting classes ranked higher, Mack Brown consistently underachieving. SEC was what put them over to top IMO. You may say others outside SEC fans don't care about the SEC. They may not care about us, but they are certainly envious. We are the gold standard of college football and that is why A&M was so smart and quick to make the switch.

Texas A&M was a male only school until 1963, and girls have always been a recruiting advantage. The record since then is 29-20. Not that bad, honestly.

Besides, who cares about all-time records? We led Florida until they started beating the dog mess out of us.

As far as nobody caring about the SEC outside of SEC fans, this is an absurd claim. I lived in Michigan for four years. Everyone is aware of and follows the SEC because of our recent dominance.

Mack Brown is Fulmer 2.0. That ship is sinking. They had better cut bait, or endure years of headaches as a result of a coach not getting the job done.

As a huge Texas fan, born and raised there till high school when I moved to Tennessee and went to UT, A&M has taken a strong hold of the state. Texas being down is very bad for the SEC as A&M will scoop in the blue chip recruits left and right in the state and rightfully so. I completely agree with whoever said Mack Brown is Fulmer 2.0, he got his national championship, got screwed out of another losing Colt McCoy in the first quarter, and now he is just riding it out. As much as I like Mack Brown he needs to be forced into retirement at the end of the season.

Could we give Missou back and take Texas instead? It would be excellent on so many levels, including the one where we benefit the SEC while screwing over A&M and destroying the Big12.

Only if you want to give them more say than everyone else in conference matters and let them keep their network deal without sharing any of the revenue.

Then sure, they'd be fine joining

Texas would never join. They're greedy, think they're too academically superior, and they would want majority money from revenue sharing. The SEC is split evenly in revenue sharing. There's a reason that Nebraska, A&M, and Mizzou bolted from the big 12.

Also Colorado.
