When it comes to the new version of math they teach now (Called Core Math here) I have no help for you there friend. I have had to help my grandkids and have come to the conclusion if we are hit by a an EMP blast, the future of this country is not very promising. No child under the age of 18 can solve a math problem without a calculator or computer. That even means the 8 + 6 you talk about. I consider this team a major part of my life as I spent many hours preparing and performing as a member of the pride. I just choose to not fall to pieces over a sport and treat it like it is the end all for my life.

I have been acting just a foolish as some of the more irrational on this board and choose to no longer stoop to that level. I apologize if I went too far.
I accept your apology.

I don’t mind folks falling to pieces, just don’t do it in front of everybody. Hold it together in public, have your good cry in private.

Why didn't the best recruiting staff in American get us a better QB in the 2019 class?

I ain't cryin' just annoyed at those who are.
My bad.
I didn’t mean to say you were crying(Not that there is anything wrong with that.). I was just saying that the ones having the meltdowns should have their good cry in private rather than in public for all to see.

My Dad used to tell a funny story about me and him crying at the Waffle House in Atlanta after the 2001 SECCG. My son was there with us and my Dad always said he just pointed and laughed at us. For the longest I would deny the story had any truth to it at all and finally I came up with the response.”If I thought it would have helped to cry I would have.” We didn’t actually cry, but we were sure enough sad about it.

“Don’t be a sore loser.”, that’s what I always told people growing up. For some of us, with little experience at losing, it’s hard not to be a little sore.

I am just as upset about the 0-2 start as others on this board. I mainly look at the way they played the game. The first game they looked like a hot mess all the way around against a bad team. This week they played hard and well for the most part against a much better team the Ga St. It was sad that the game came down to our best CB getting lost in the moment and letting his man run down the field uncontested or covered.
it is nice to have a conversation with someone who actually uses their brain. I now see where I missed the connection with your post.

Don’t get me started or you will want take back the me using a brain comment.

I’ve seen us rebound from worse than this and actually springboard into some really good football. From the outside looking in they need to work their way out of this as players and coaches.

Over the past few years we have had several DBs get caught looking rather than cover their man or defend their part of the field. Ga(We ended up winning.), Fl and now BYU, I expect JP to put an end to that.

One thing is to be out matched, it’s a whole other thing to get caught looking. I’ve done it before. You see what you expect and then the next thing you know the ball is being thrown over your head. For me it was a type of tunnel vision. As a DB you have to see the whole field when playing zone, but playing man you have to lock in and only peek when you know where your guy is and you’re in a position of power. Just in case you need to give help some where else.

There was over 60 minutes of football that could have made that 1 play not matter as much as it does.

Our guys need to learn from their mistakes and continue with what they did well.

Excellent analysis. The unfortunate thing when it comes to Alontae's bust was he had been in the right position the rest of the game. Pruitt had the entire team looking at the sideline so they were certain what the coverage was. He lost track of the situation for 5 seconds too long and couldn't recover. I think they will get that worked out.

Maybe we could play N C at Bristol somewhere a the end of the season so we cn get a good look at the coach all the previous posters on this board wanted so badly. He even bombed out at Texas with all the talent in the world.
