Macron, France Reject American 'Woke' Culture That's 'Racializing' Their Country

After French President Emmanuel Macron recalled his ambassadors from the U.S. in the wake of a submarine deal with Australia that was torpedoed by President Joe Biden's administration, French media are now reexamining everything about America.

The latest target? "Woke" ideology.

One of France's leading magazines, Le Spectacle Du Monde, ran a cover story titled "The Suicide of America." The magazine blamed America's retreat from Afghanistan on "a woke dictatorship" and questioned whether the American "empire was collapsing."

In the same issue, an article faulted U.S. universities as islands of extremism, where even students' Halloween costumes are policed, citing Yale University as a place where "offensive" costume-wearers were punished.

France, and Macron are starting to question that laughing and giggling he was doing with the gullible Biden. It ain't so funny anymore given a few questionable decisions by the Biden administration on the world stage. The Biden administration is terrible with foreign policy which eventually impacts foreign relations that even promised handouts can't solve.

You know it's bad when you start getting criticized by France. One of the arguments they make is America is exporting a more leftist ideology to other countries that's affecting their culture as well and creating more divisions. I don't enough about their culture but I know they've had struggles with extremism as well through immigration and the young and easily influenced.

I do. Cops getting beat down...cars set on fire and overturned...went on for a couple months. Eventually Macron made concessions and enlarged the handouts already in place. He was lucky to keep his job...with huge crowds calling for him to resign every single weekend.

We wouldn’t have our country without the French because Britain was kicking our rear ends until France stepped in to help us.
The French government surrendered to Germany in 1940 in an effort to save the metropolitan areas the Germans had taken over. Obviously trying to save their own butts since cities are where the government people resided. The French people themselves did not surrender and continued to subvert the Germans in every way possible via the French Underground Resistance which were a very valuable asset to US forces. The Germans hunted and executed Resistance members relentlessly throughout the war.
Gun ownership is legal in France with a hunting license and there are an estimated 10-20 million guns in France owned both legally and illegally in a population of around 65 million or so.
Their “immigration” problems are caused by the same things our “immigration” problems are caused by, completely moronic idiots in government. They just have a few years head start on the chaos caused by those idiots.

Nobody loves a good protest or riot like the French do going all the way back to 1789.
They’re out in the 10’s of thousands all over the country every weekend currently protesting the government’s Covid mandates. What exactly are we doing in the US about our government’s mandates? Oh yea, not a damn thing.
Who folded and gave in due to the previous rioting in France? Oh that’s right, their government caved to the protest demands.

I agree with this post but they are right on this issue. It's another embarrassment where this country is headed and it sounds like buyers remorse with Biden. This stuff has global consequences when it's America.
