On the drive home from Maryville tonight my son, whom I thought to be asleep said "your Monotoneistic singing is, well, not good.".

Monotoneistic: Lacking change in pitch and or tone. Lacking spirit or enthusiastic feeling. Dull or uninspired.

Definition provided by my 15yr old son. I think he's great.

Anybody else got one?

When she was younger my daughter always called butterflies "flutter-by's"... which is actually a much more accurate description of 'em and to this day I still call 'em flutter-by's.

Speculatory.
My boss just said this on a conference call.
He also uses Pacific in the place of specific.
He once said "pick a Pacific topic".
I said " like Sacramento or LA? "

Maybe he's from "Worshing-ton"! Speaking of such, I love to hear people say Chicargo or Westconsin... As though there might be an Eastconsin somewhere....

One of the dads keeps talking to me about tourmanents every time I see him. Wrestling tourmanents. Basketball tourmanents. Driving me crazy. When I get to know him better, I'm going to have to address it.

Off topic, but had someone eat an eye booger off their pinkie the other day while in mid sentence and didn't skip a beat. No telling what my face looked like, but he was clueless that he even did it.
