At this point we ought to just keep Curt and anyone else hurt out until after the buy week. We will need to be at full strength for the games we have a better chance of winning to try and go 6-6. ( Mizz, AU, Vandy, and KY-- AU looking tough)

If he's ready to play, he should play to get in sync with the D. By now, he needs reps.

Does this have something to do with Arian Foster?

Not at the expense of an injury, but it would be nice to have Curt next year. I always thought that if he had a good year, he could leave early. Redshirt or not, I have a hard time seeing him in 2015. That will help a young LB group next year. For as much critcism as AJ gets, I still think he is a pro prospect. The pro game doesn't play as much spread, which exposes a MLB in open space. Quicker safeties also help disguise any coverage breakdown.

From the tone of Butch's conversations, it sounds like Curt is continuing to improve but the operative word, in his case, is slowly. Consequently, it is difficult to project when he will be ready this season. For that reason, the prospect of a redshirt is looming larger.
