this is a big blow to the team in my mind this year. he showed much improvement at the end of the year last year.

I don't know if you saw it on here earlier this week, or if you just started a new thread to discuss it, but we talked about it earlier this week.

It hurts depth, and it hurts low post presence. Rebounding didn't take a hit, but Major did~! BOWZING!

I also think that it is a big loss. Coach Pearl said during an interview at halftime of the UT/Air Force football game that we would be undersized most nights like last year, and that Dane Bradshaw would probably have to be utilized underneath again this year. Depth was going to be a positive for the team this year, but now any inside depth we had is gone. At least we will have perimeter depth, but we will be very young - six newcomers, including five true freshman. Coach Pearl will have the guys in shape, though, and his teams will almost always outwork the opponent. I'm still looking forward to the basketball season, though. GO VOLS!!
