Ex-Pro Bowl DL Jackson retires after 10 seasons
Didn’t see where this was posted but will always be grateful for what Malik did here at Tennessee. Transferred to the vols when the program was at its low point and when he came from USC after losing Kiffin felt like a small victory. Played out of position due to necessity and never complained. True VFL

great player at UT. Hope he enjoys his retirement and can make it to some Vol football events and games.

Always liked him. Wasn’t he undersized here? And still made big plays. I remember the story when he transferred here Ed O told him he wouldn’t get any playtime bc he recruited all the DL that was here at the time. Proved him wrong!

Not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. Malik had more fight than the offensive guy, and the fight got him paid in the league. Good for him. Enjoy retirement and come on back to Knoxville. Wonder if he would have any interest in being a coach?

Getting Malik was definitely one of the only bright spots during that time. Had a great college and pro career.
