Mallet confuses me when it comes to predicting his pro future. Sometimes I think he could be a superstar, other times I think he is the second coming of Ryan Leaf.

IMO he reeks of NFL bust. He is a carbon copy of SEC QB's that come out.

I took a good look at the history of SEC QB's in the NFL, and came to the realization that nobody from the conference (aside from the Mannings) has done anything worth a damn in the NFL in roughly 40 years. Given the history, I shudder at the thought of my Cowboys drafting him. I have no doubt Jerruh is giving him a real, real strong look. He loves him some Arkansas players.

Yeah but the nfl doesn't look at 'conference history' like that. The vast majority of colleg qbs fail because the ones that do succeed stay in their same position for 10-15 yrs...

Just putting it out there. The SEC has a long, long standing history of NFL busts and flameouts at the quarterback position with the exception of Archie's kids.
