I know it's not possible to look to the future but 3 to 4 years from now whom is still employed and thriving? I'm saying of the three hires ours is the best....and Coach Strong will get this turned around! GBO!

Malzahn will do well. I don't know how I feel about Bielema in the SEC. When did we hire Strong?

After the Vandy game.

Which is why we never had a coaching search.

Boosters wanted Gruden but Hart already had Strong.

Strong= Dooley 2.0.... gets the hype the first two years, pulls a couple of descent recruiting classes, then shows he is over his head in year three and needs to go back and be a DC somewhere. Then we go after Gruden again.... yawn.

if TN does hire Strong that would be the weakest hire of the 4 SEC hires this year.

1. Beliema

2. Malzahn

3. Stoops

4. Strong

According to my sources at BR-549, Dave Hart has not made any announcements regarding the hiring of anyone for the football HC position. Also, that site has reported no scheduled pressers for Hart. There are many rumors about Strong, Gundy, and Fedora; however, I will believe none of them until Hart's presser.

This is where every Vol fan needs to spend the night in a Holiday Inn Express and pretend to be a doctor... we need to have some patients (patience). GBO!!! ><>

XM 91 just announced on their college football show that Strong has just been hired as the Tennessee coach.

Strong would be the best of those four....if we had hired any of those other three, I would be madder than an old wet hen.

How can you possibly rank a guy who has never been a head coach over a guy that has his team playing in a BCS bowl this year? Hell, it may be correct but you nor anyone else has any way of knowing at this point.

There has to be some level of sarcasm in here, but I just don't see it, so I just assume at this point you sir are clueless.

What are you basing this off of?

I would say:

Beliema
Strong
Malzahn
Stoops

And I'd only put Beliema slighly ahead of Strong b/c of years experience and results in those years.

Strong knows the SEC and that's important

Does not say that Strong is hired. They are speculating that UT wants Strong. Even says deal is not done and imply that they expect U of L to counteroffer if UT and Strong come to some sort of deal.

You must be racist because this defies any logical football reasoning.

Two 7-6 seasons and one 10-2 ... where is the hype for Strong coming from. Oh yeah, he coached in Florida. I forgot. That makes the hire all worth it.

Malzahn has the most potential
Beliema has the best resume
Strong has a decent resume and some potential

In 3-4 years I think Beliema has an SEC Championship and Malzahn is on the verge. I don't think Strong ever competes for one. But I do think he'll be beating the likes of South Carolina handily at least.

Strong inherited a team that was under .500 during the previous 2 seasons and turned them into a winning program in each of his 3 seasons. Good defensive minded hire IMO.

I live in Little Rock and most of my Hog friends are not happy with the Beliema hire and have said they would have preferre Strong. I hope they are right... GBO!

Are your friends anything like that one guy's Georgia fan friends who thought Dooley was building a dynasty here? Sounds like it.
