Who cares what Carolyn Peck thinks. Another failure coach (Florida) and another former Pat Head grad assistant who could not make it. That's why she is gaining weight as a talking head

This team revived itself enough to get into the NCAAs and to 20 wins. Holly is doing fine. All she needs is some quality assistants and all will be swell.

Ha, ha! Those assistants that aren't quality in your sight were just fine when they were assistants to the greatest basketball coach who ever lived. I'm thinking those assistants need a quality head coach to assist.

There are coaches out there to bring this team to where they belong!!

You must be a relative of Holly or a delusional fan who refuses to take off their orange glasses? Or a fan who is OK with mediocrity? The offense has sucked for years! The Lady Vols are terrible in the half-court. The NCAA Tournament will have less up and down games, but more of half-court battles. Yes, this team is playing much better. What will the Lady Vols do when the games slows down? It is Holly's responsibility to have an offense that her team can run. Getting the ball inside is not an offense. Players need to get in the gym is NOT going to solve the problem. We shouldn't look like a JV team when on offense!

Yes! She's knowledgeable when it comes to offense also. When a team gets in their offensive sets, she knows exactly what kind of Offense they are running. With Tennessee, she's really lost for words because absolutely no one knows what they are running.

This sounds like something a troll would write. I think this is someone just trying to stir up a little crap or that's what I hope because I can't imagine someone actually thinking the problem is just the assistants, lol!

You're right, my friend. I missed that--definite troll. I should have held off on my response.

Yes a team that was picked by every expert in the nation as the 3rd best team and picked to get back to the final four has lost 13 games. Holly is doing just fine if you don't mind this type of dreadful under performance by a team.

how many more undefeated years before Geno overtakes Pat's win record?

In the previous three games, the players shared the ball, looking for the open player, they passed the ball crisply, made backdoor cuts to the basket, set ball screens, battled for every rebound. All three games, wins. Last night, back to selfish basketball, trying to pad their own stats, refusing to give up the ball, no backdoor, very few ball screens, and yet once again, no Dunbar on the floor for a single second, and Nia Moore starts the game, plays well, is taken out and never gets back in the game. Loss! An all too familiar pattern with this team this year and the results show it. I just don't see the game management from Holly.

Dunbar would have been totally over matched in this game. Both teams played man to man. On offense she would have been unable to get a shot off and on defense she couldn't have guarded anybody. Moore played seven minutes and had two rebounds. Nothing else for her. A narrative has developed that because Russell doesn't play well, then Moore must be better. It isn't true.

Funny how if we win...we don't hear very much enthusiasm for the team, but when we lose, it's back on the fire Holly train...:)

GO LADY VOLS!

Why the obsession with him? Records were made to be broken. Pat's legacy is what it is. Nobody or nothing can change her contribution to wbb. Let's move out of dwelling on the past and what was. It's healthier to try to be the best you can be today.

I don't think it was players trying to pad stats as much as it was playing like a chicken with their head cut off. Holly didn't do a good job getting the team settled on offense, and I think that's why it looked so disjointed.

at the most Geno will be the wins leader in barely 4 more years. he's only @145 wins behind and has at least 8 more wins this year.

If the LVs get a weak team then they may make it to the second game (in the NCAA tourney) otherwise it's 1 & done. What more evidence do you need than to just look at the Miss State game? Get a decent team opponent and the coming loss is apparent. NOT going to change until you make a change at the head coach level.

Meek fan you hit the nail on the head.Pat's place in history will never be diminished by what Genno does or anyone else in women's basketball. The Women's BB HOF is in Knoxville for a reason. What UCONN, ND, Baylor, USC, and other women BB programs are experiencing, and enjoying, would not have happen without the vision and work of Pat Summitt. Records will be broken but not the contributions of the greatest women's basketball ball coach ever, and really one of the best bb coaches period, and that is without question, Pat Summitt.

This was one of the hardest losses this season. Fans hoped the LVs had turned the corner, but instead, they reverted back to the same poor play. It doesn't matter what bracket this team draws-- it's a lost season.
