WAYNE, Neb. -- Del Hampton has no reason to be fowl.

He was named champion Saturday of the National Cluck-Off competition -- an event the Fort Smith, Ark., native has won for the past eight years.

Pretty well, all this rain sucks but it's a good trade for grass and trees. Spent last weekend visiting Jamestown and Yorktown then we went to see the new carrier being built. Me likey!
