that story made it to CNN. I saw it on the local news last night and died laughing. I think he is on drugs or something.

That was funnier than the Ashville Tourist coach. Plus you have to remember professional sports is a form of entertainment. It's not past the higher ups in baseball to say if your going to get tossed them make a show of it or give the people their money's worth.

The use of the rosin bag as a faux grenade is one of the best things I've ever seen.

I agree. If you notice, the minor league managers put on much more of a show when they get tossed than do their big league counterparts.

The funniest thing was seeing the second baseman standing there laughing, enjoying the show. Those fans got plenty for the price of admission.

Definitely one of the funniest sports related things I have ever seen. I just wonder how long someone starts crying and making a fuss because he acted like he threw a grenade.

My friend here in town was at the game. He said for the rest of the game the crowd was in a roar of laughter. Said it was one of the funniest things he had ever seen with his own eyes.

Today on Around the Horn, Woody Paige loved it, as usual, Jay Mariotti, was all bent out of shape about it and totally missed the entertainment value and related it to something bigger. You know what he usually does.

Mike Golic, on NFL Live, tried to say that NFL Refs are better men because they don't get up in the faces of NFL coaches. Golic is a puppet/ tool.

He was right about calling out MLB umps for being so confrontational. Most of them (especially the younger ones) seem to go into the game wanting to toss somebody. But Golic always seems to lose his credibility because he constantly shows his favoritism and bias when trying to make a point.

It was funny. But it is also embarrasing. Being an alum from the Lou Pinella School of Immaturity is no proud badge to wear. Never understood why baseball managers find it ok to act like little kids when things don't go their way.

Yea, but so are NFL and NBA coaches and you rarely see that crap from them. But they also don't wear player uniforms in those leagues so that might say a lot.
