This sucks for him and the Colts. Praying for his recovery and expect he'll do well in the next phase of his life.

Don't think career is over but doesn't look good for this season.

Ps. Thanks for new thread. Other one has become some arguing over titans football

Is there anyway we can send him something to let him know we support him through these difficult times? Just send him our support and prayers.I mean the guy did a ton for this University and has always supported the Vols.

Sucks to hear that about Peyton, he'll be back tho. Colts will lose 10 games, AFC South is wide open now.

is Houston really the favorite?

Colts - washed up QB and without Manning... no rushing attack. Poor/Average defense. Manning, quite literally, is the Colts. This will show exactly how much that one player truly carried his team.

Titans - washed up QB but good running game. Average defense.

Jags - just released their starting QB. Good running game. Poor/Average defense.

Texans - good/great running game (key is Foster's consistency). Schaub is a quality passer and has Andre Johnson. Average Defense.

A .500 season is likely good enough for any team to win the AFC South this year. This is a golden opportunity for the Texans.

Any Titans fans out there who are secretly ready for Peyton to retire besides me? Wish him the all the best.. but I would like to see him retire and set up shop in Knoxville. Nothing left for him to prove in the NFL.

Note: Dont want to see him have to retire due to injury though

Yupppppp. So tired of seeing him in royal blue. I'd like him much better in orange.

Titans = EPIC FAIL they suck and have sucked for a while. The only reason they were half way good is because of Jeff Fisher.I wouldn't be suprised if they finish last in the League.Personally I don't give 2 sh*ts about the Titans.Never have, never will.

P.S I really don't care for the NFL period. The only time I watch it is when the playoffs start

I feel bad, yesterday I sold a buddy of mine my Titans/Colts tickets, so he could see Peyton play. I am gonna be out of town that weekend and cannot go so I figured i could sell those tickets and make a little extra. Sucks for them done spent the money on Tickets to see the Vols take on vandy in November.

Always pull for Peyton to throw for 500 yards against the Titans, but lose to them. Titans fan, but still like Peyton cause he played for the VOLS.

If the Texans can't get it done this year, they won't ever win the division.

I feel the same way about baseball, once the playoffs start then there is actually something to play for and it matters if you lose. I disagree about Fisher, he was a conservative and boring coach that choked in big games kinda like Fulmer. Change is a good thing sometimes, see UGA

The Jags defense is stout. Maybe not as stout as it was with Henderson and Stroud, but its still a stout D. Above avg DL, average LBs, and an above average secondary. Mathis is one of the top 3 corners in the NFL. The Jags have the best D in the South IMO

He's had a great run, but I don't think he'll come back unless he can be competitive. If he's firing on less than full cylinders, I think he'll hang it up and move on. He'll probably take the year and see.

It's a shame, though. Not sure that he'd return to Knoxville.
